We are thrilled to announce our 3rd annual festival coming up all about bridging the gap between art and wellness and raising awareness for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America St. Petersburg Chapter – The Soul Revival Art Festival and Fundraiser is looking for volunteers for this exciting weekend! Join us on January 25th and 26th, 2025 for a weekend filled with music, art, and positive vibes. Event Details: Dates: January 25th Art Gala Brunch Location: The James Museum Dates: January 26th Art Festival Location: The Deuces Corner & The Well for Life Soul Revival is a weekend extravaganza that promises to uplift your spirits and rejuvenate your soul. With a lineup of talented artists, musicians, and creators, we're gearing up to make this event an unforgettable experience for everyone in St. Pete. We are looking for dedicated volunteers to be a part of Soul Revival and help us make it a grand success. Our volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring that Soul Revival runs smoothly. *Volunteer Roles Leading Up* Street Crew: Passing out flyers getting the word out to the city. (Will begin after Thanksgiving) *Volunteer roles day of FESTIVAL (Day 2)* Set Up/Parking (Needed on DAY 2): Help set up chairs, tables, stations and tents etc. for event. Guide People on where to park (there will be a map). Gallery Greeters (Needed on DAY 2): Welcome guests in pop-up gallery inside The Well, check in and register guests who purchased tickets or need to purchase tickets. Timekeeper for artist/wellness talks. Art Activity Crew (Needed on DAY 2): In charge of hands on art activities at the park. *Volunteer Roles day of BRUNCH (Day 1)* Buffet Server: Serve Food at buffet set-up, make sure the line is running smoothly. *Volunteer Roles Needed for Both Days* Ushers/Floaters (Needed Both Days): Help guide attendees/volunteers/artists to various attractions and facilities. Passing out water, meal vouchers, etc. Artist Assistants/Set Up (Needed Both Days): Support our artists and creators in pop-up gallery during set up/breakdown and throughout the event. Guide them to their designated spot. Vendor Assistants/Set Up (Needed Both Days): Support our local vendors throughout the event, guide them to their designated spot, help in set up/break down, pass out water, bathroom breaks, etc. Tickets/Merch (Needed Both Days): Check people in. Sell tickets for art gallery, raffle tickets, and event merchandise. Keep track of ticket sells. Know how to use all forms of payment (Cashapp, Zelle, Square, etc.) Timekeeper (Needed for Both Days): Keep performances on schedule, make sure artists are in place. Watch the time. Make sure the DJ is aware of the timing of the event/performances. Clean Up Crew (Needed Both Days): Pick up trash throughout event. Ask vendors if they have anything they need to throw out. Clean up and help vendors pack up at the end. Commitment: Commitment of working the full Brunch or 3 hour shift on Jan. 25th (Time: 10am-4pm) OR full fest or 3 hour shifts on Jan. 26 at the Festival (Time: 1pm-7pm) . Set up/Breakdown crew commitment is 1.5 hour front & back end of either event. If you want to volunteer both days, that is possible as well. Commitment to attend a mandatory 45-minute virtual briefing session in advance of The Soul Revival Weekend. Whether you can spare a few hours or spend the entire day with us, your contribution will make a significant difference.
